Soprano, pianist, mandolin player

One of the most remarkable artist who represent the Republic of Moldova in Italy and in the world like a singer, mandolin player and pianist. Violeta start in 1991 as a student at the Music Conservatory in Chisinau and immediately started the close cooperation to the National Orchestra of Radio -TV of Moldova as a singer and mandolin player. From 2015, soprano and student in the class of prof. Elisabetta Tandura “Conservatorio Benedetto Marcello”, (Venice)

QUALIFICATIONS

1989-1991 Elementary school, Plopi (Moldova), courses of accordion, Cantemir (Moldova)

1991- 2000 Music School “Liceul Ciprian Porumbescu” in Chisinau (Moldova). Study of musicology, piano, mandolin, cobza.

2000-2005 Specializing in composition and musicology at the Academy of Music “G.Muzicescu”of Chisinau (r. Moldova)

1998 April: Participant in the festival dedicated to the plucked instruments in Moscow. May: Third place in the category of instrumental music in the competition “Barbu Lautaru”, Chisinau (Moldova)

2002 First place in the category of instrumental music in the competition “Barbu Lautaru”, Chisinau ( Moldova). Teacher of piano in the School of Art, Cricova (Moldova)

2003-2005 Teacher of cobza (mandola) and mandolin in the School of Music Ciprian Porumbescu.  Teacher of piano and music theory in the Art School, Gratiesti (Moldova) Soloist in the Orchestra Teleradio “Folclor”

2005-2006 July: Participant in the Festival of “Two Worlds”, Spoletto. Shows as a Duo (piano and violin) in the cruise ships Costa Allegra, Costa Fortuna, Costa Victoria in Cyprus, Greece, Malta, Corsica, Spain, Brazil, Portugal, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Turkey.

2007 Pianist at Caffè Lavena and Caffè Quadri in Piazza San Marco (Venice)

2008 Tour of concerts in northern Italy in a duo with Radu Zaplitnii. Like vocals, pianist, cobza, mandolin and accordion player.

2009 08.03.09 Musical evening of Moldovan music to Panic Jazz, Marostica – R.Zaplitnii – accordion, Violeta  – mandolin / vocal, Massimo Tuzza – Percusion.

2010 Cittadella (IT), concert with “Le old walls” .

2011 09.01.2011 Venice, Santa Elena. Concert by Radu,Violeta and L.Bisutto in opening of the Emergency Clinic based in Marghera (VE) .15.01.2011 Mestre (VE). Radu and Violeta Moldovan music in concert organized by the associations “Dacia”, “Friends”, “Olympia” for the Christmas holidays.20.12.2011 Chisinau (MD). Radu and Violeta in concert  Filarmonica Nationala “Serghei Lunchevici” with the presentation of the new album “Orient Express” Russian, Moldavian music, Argentine tango, French musette, jazz, cobza solo.

2013 09/15/2013 Auditorium Pollini of Padua, concert of “Banda di Via Anelli”, multiethnic orchestra composed by sixteen artists, musicians, singers and dancers, of between twelve different nationalities.The band brings together some of the most interesting foreign artists resident in Italy and from different parts of the world, is born to create the conditions for a fruitful exchange of experiences between people from different cultures.

2015 New CD ” Opera and Jazz” with : Ivan Tibolla – piano, Pierantonio Antonello – dubble bass, Piergiorgio Caverzan – saxophone, Radu Zaplitnii – accordion and exclusive producer, Violeta Grecu – vocals, mandolin.

2016 Student at the Conservatory of Music B. Marcello ,Venice as a lyric soprano. Currently he promoted as a cover in the opera “The Chinese” by Christoph Willibald Gluck, accompanied by the Orchestra of the Conservatorio Benedetto Marcello in Venice, at the Teatro La Fenice – Season 2015/2016.

2017 Soprano in the choir of the Conservatory B. Marcello in Opera W.A.Mozart, “Il ratto dal Serraglio” at the Teatro Comunale of Treviso and Ferrara.
